Birds of the Rock.

These first day covers are spectacular. Not only is there a selected copy of the design for a different stamp on each cover, the envelope itself is coloured, the colour used being from the palette used for the paintings.

Along with the gutter pairs, a set of singles, and the maxicards, these first day covers contribute to a first rate display of the issue in an album.

Luckily, I always take my binoculars with me in my camera bag so I am always ready to twitch wherever I go abroad, including Gibraltar - if I ever get there!
