Talking about uploading " Images " ... Would mind having the possibilty of " Hotlink " from outside " MyPhilately " ... Preferely from " Thumb " to be enlarge - Just by cliking on the thumb ... Would nice

At the moment the best you can do is to put a link to the website next to the image.

I will develop the hotlinking idea! Improvements to what we can provide is what it is all about.

We do have some issues with very large width images being uploaded, the next major upgrade of MP will include, full screen width blogs and discussions.

That was so easy - I've even tried to upload some

Any chance of being able to upload images from the "Add comment" area? Often I am reading and think, ohh yes, I have something to share here, I start typing my comment then go to add a quick scan/photo and.... damn.

I have to go out of the Add Comment, into My Stamp Space, upload the image, then back into this group, into the thread, into the comment box, and sometimes its - ohh bother. I don't have the time for all that....

And often I can't find where I was in the first place...

Or, is there already an easy way in place that I have missed seeing to upload photos from my computer/scanner, once in comment mode ..??

I just use photobucket where I have many philatelic items stored
Then I can transfer them into myphilately any time, without backtracking,
out of 'comment mode'

the photobucket concept is fantastic. it would not replace the usage of images here already, but could greatly enhance the blogs and discussions.

so, Dan, what we need now is a clear concise tutorial that any three-year-old could follow. i mean to say, this is what i need. pleeeze?

When you add comments to forums and bulletin boards you normally use the Share this image box, where you cut and paste the image code into your comments

There are 4 choices in the Share this image box on Photobucket

• Email & IM
• Direct Link
• HTML Code
• IMG Code

For MyPhilately use the second option "DIRECT LINK"
