Stamp Shout Box

Bald one : Thanks for your interest Svend. I have carefully studied this piece and advise as follows: It would appear to be a cutout from a postcard which was posted in Tea Gardens ( a suburb of Newcastle-north of Sydney) on 31st March 1924. Further details at present I have none.

Svend : Sad that no year appears in the postmark. Does the shape and form of the postmark tell anything about the period of use of this "stamp"?

Svend : A very interesting piece. My catalogues do not cover this period. I know of overprinted newspaper wrappers and envelopes sometimes also called wrappers. How thick is the paper?
