Skills Description: I collector Black Americans on US & Foreign stamps,FDC, and PostCards. I have been collecting since 1982 and became a full-time collector in 1987. I am a member of a Black American Stamp Society called ESPER ( Ebony Society of Philatelic Events and Reflections ), we have over 100 members and have internationals members also. ESPER has a table every year at both Mega-Stamp Events and works with the USPS to encourage more Black Americans to collect stamps. I was President of ESPER from 1995 to 1998, I now serve as the Liasion to the American Topical Association for ESPER.

Skills Description: I had a small United States stamp collection about 250 stamps that has grown to around 10,000 stamps. this is my summertime retirement project that may be ongoing as I enjoy it so much. I have most stamps USA from 1920s to 1990. I have many pre 1920s, and need to work on that area, I call them face stamps they are confusing to me as they look so alike, franklin and washington. Back of book USA i have a good start only one zepplain so far the baby. I will work on BOB as time goes by, only one duck stamp, many new UN stamps and many inbetween. first confederate stamps just bought hope they are not fakes lol. I have a full commerative book 1930s to 1996. The other book I have is a US liberty 1800s-2000, i need to get pages for 2001-2010. I have a new plate block book filled up and another book used plate blocks. I have three large stock books of things I don't need, duplicates and three small books, older USA AND AIRMAIL, also duplicates things i want to sell or trade. Also have around 100 old revenue stamps. I am working with "The Postal Service Guide to U.S. Stamps",26th edition, year 2000 stamp values, it is falling apart and i need to get a new one. Update 7/26/2010 I just purchased the new USPS 36th edition Stamp Guide- WooHoo for me!
